Basin and channel
A 4.5-hectare marina basin at 10 metres LAT, a 50-metre entrance and a 5-metre LAT access channel.

Operating today, with the foundations for much more already in place.
The basin and access channel are complete, the wider marine development is approved, and initial maintenance and repair operations began in 2025.

Maintenance, repair and overhaul operations began in 2025, creating real vessel and customer experience ahead of the full build.
Early operations
Demand is being encountered before the complete facility is available.
ECMC recorded five vessel requests accepted and three unable to be accommodated in 2025. In the first half of 2026, four were accepted and two could not be accommodated. These early figures are modest, but they show both operational activity and the current limitations of an incomplete facility.
